Tax-free is available if you are a visitor to Japan with temporary stay status such as a tourist.
Requirements of tax-free shopping
- Please present your passport at the store ( copy of the passport is not accepted )
- The shop will affix a proof of purchase document to your passport. You must present this to Customs when departing Japan.
- Available for non-residents ( short term visitors)
- Shipping costs and repair fee are not eligible for tax-free shopping
